Huawei's alternative operating system for Android will finally arrive in August, but the surprise is not for smart phones!

The last months have been complicated for Huawei. After the United States vetoed it, the company's future raised a state of severe uncertainty among users. However, we already know when its new operating system will be available.

 Some speculation has suggested that Huawei is no longer able to install Android on its smartphones because of the closure of negotiations with Google. Therefore, the Chinese company will operate on its own operating system, whose characteristics will be completely different. 

According to Reuters , Huawei announced the launch of Hongmeng operating system, which will arrive in August, and will work on smart TVs and not on smart phones as we thought previously. 

In a presentation in Shenzhen on Friday, July 26, Huawei said that in the coming weeks, Smart Screens will be launched and will be the first to use Hongmeng, the much-talked-about operating system.

 The company has already hinted that this operating system may replace Android from Google, although some rumors and sources already indicated that Huawei intends to continue to use the operating system Gogog, so Hongmeng will not be designed for smart phones, but for connected devices. 

Huawei has not provided further details on its future smart screens, but in August more official information will be disclosed, so we have to be patient. 

During the same event, the company took the opportunity to announce its first 5G mobile device to China: the Mate 20 X 5G device, which can already be purchased in the country at $ 900.
